Junotte Odom
Junotte Odom is well-known for her 25 years of teaching music in the Middletown School District, where she was a choir director and accompanist extraordinaire!
Before coming to Middletown, Junotte taught music for 6 years in Wilmington, DE.
In addition to being a school music teacher, Mrs. Odom has been a private piano teacher, as well as a church organist/pianist and choir director for many years!
We are honored to welcome her to our teaching staff as a piano teacher at Kelly’s Music Corner!

Fortune Esposito
Mr. Esposito started his music career as a guitar teacher at the young age of fourteen and has been teaching ever since!
Fortune possesses a Bachelor Of Music degree in music education from the Crane School Of Music at SUNY Potsdam.
He taught music in the Middletown City School District for over thirty years, where he was the director of award-winning choirs and also produced and directed numerous musical theatre productions.
Mr. Esposito was also the band leader of the popular wedding band, "The Fortune Trio" for thirty years, and today serves as musical director and guitarist for Jenna Esposito, performing across the United States! Fortune is thrilled to be offering guitar lessons at Kelly's Music Corner!
Gregory Bennett
Gregory Bennett will be teaching Private Voice beginning in September 2017. Mr. Bennett will begin his 24th year of music education and has spent the last 23 years of his career right here in Middletown at Middletown High School. He grew up here in Middletown and graduated from Middletown High School, before attending Orange County Community College, SUNY New Paltz, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Applied Music and Vocal Performance. Mr. Bennett has also attended the University of Connecticut and holds advanced degrees from SUNY New Paltz and Long Island University. He has taught private voice instruction to a number of students around the area over the years, who have been selected to All-Eastern, All-State, Area All-State, and All-County, as well as preparing several of them for college auditions. He currently directs and teaches the Middletown High School Chamber Singers and Women’s Chorale ensembles, as well as the extra-curricular show choir, Pipers. Mr. Bennett was an inaugural GRAMMY Music Educator nominee and Semifinalist, has received a number of directorial and performance honors during his tenure at Middletown, and during the past three years, has been directing the Enlarged City School District of Middletown’s “Middie Music Camp” Elementary and Middle School choral ensembles. Under Mr. Bennett’s direction, the Middletown High School Choir program has grown to more than 200 members, and has consistently received Superior and Excellent ratings at contest.
Mr. Bennett currently lives here in Middletown with his dog, Harmony. In his spare time, he loves to play and watch tennis, and likes to travel in to New York City to go see Broadway shows.

Erin Lawney
Ms. Erin Lawney is a Long Island native from the town of Port Jefferson Station, NY. She has a degree in music education from Long Island University C.W. Post and a master's degree in childhood special education. Currently she works for the Middletown School District as a middle school music teacher. Erin has been playing piano for twenty years as well as clarinet for twenty one years. She has been teaching piano lessons for eight years and has worked with students from ages 4 to adult. She has had many students go to the NYSSMA festival and return with exceptional scores. She looks forward to providing students with a meaningful musical experience.
